my review
Genna Rulon had done it again. It’s exceptional! It’s
a total page-turner. Temper for You is the best in the series so far, and don’t
let me begin on how much I love this series!
Meg is a mystery I wanted to solve. Her past has
always been a little bleak, a little questionable, and the author made sure it
was tight lid. It kept me reading, wondering WHAT IT IS. What could possibly be
in her past that had kept her running? It was great that she was adopted by a
group of friends that had become a family. She was leading a great life, until
her past came calling.
Westly Black is sex personified. There were two
things he excelled at: SEX and LAW. After a misunderstanding and falling out
with Meg, second chance knocked on his door, and made her his neighbor. This
time, he was grabbing it. He would prove to her that he can give her the
pleasure that she can never imagine. Wes might complicate her life more, but
she was going to allow him into it with rules, and with the control on her
hands – or she thought she did. Until day by day, she saw through Wes, and
known how good this complicated man can be.
But what if the past returns to haunt them? Would
their new-found relationship survive the test?
One surprises after the other, just as when you
thought that was the end of it, another fact would come out and will knock you
off your seats. WOW. Simply WOW. It was beyond all my predictions, all the
possibilities I have come up with. How did Genna Rulon managed to keep a secret
a big as that under leash and not to reveal it until the timing was right, I really
didn’t know. But it was one explosion after another, something I and even you
wouldn’t expect.
I would have loved to read a scene on those men
being in the same room in the last chapter. It would have been epic, and I lay
awake wondering what would transpire, especially on how it all ended.
All in all, I loved it. I love the twist, the
surprises, the mystery, and the romance. Considering I didn’t see most of it
coming had kept me awake and reading all night long. The unpredictability of
this novel had made it one of those that you won’t dare to put down.
