Blog Tour, Book Review & Giveaway | Game Play by Lynda Aicher

One night, one time, nothing more. That's all it was supposed to be. They'd agreed their first night together would be their only night together—and Minnesota Glaciers defenseman Dylan Rylie was fine with that. Giant hickeys and claw marks on his ass had never been his style, even if the very memory of Samantha Yates's merciless sexual energy gets him hard within seconds. He needs to focus on getting a better contract, not mind-blowing orgasms.

One night, one time, nothing more. Fresh off representing the US at the Games and with nowhere else to play, Samantha gave in to one night of frantic passion with the Glaciers' brawny hotshot. She couldn't get hurt—not if she controlled the outcome. And she planned to leave Minnesota soon, anyway. She didn't expect to be recruited to coach Dylan after they'd gotten down and dirty.

When brutal on-ice workouts lead to kinky locker room sessions and "one night" falls by the wayside, Samantha insists on keeping things casual, despite Dylan's quiet hope for more. But when Dylan goes down—hard—and his career is in jeopardy, Samantha is the first one by his side. What will it take to keep her there after he's healed?

It was supposed to be one night, one time and nothing more. BUT how can you ever forget that kind of sex? The kind that can blow your mind, you have claw marks and hickeys to prove it?

Minnesota Glaciers defenseman Dylan Rylie was trying to make his play better to get a nice contract. He didn't really need a distraction, much more some mind-blowing orgasms. He was known to become the guy who throws awesome parties. With his charming Southern drawl, his cowboy hat and boots, he was definitely swoon-worthy.

Samantha was lost. She couldn't play the one thing she loved, the one thing her life revolved around for quite some time. She couldn't play hockey. And the question of: what to do next, was eating her alive. That one night with Dylan was supposed to be an isolated incident, but the moment he was requested by the former to 'coach' him - it may have lead to more. Samantha wanted to protect her heart and her future - to keep everything between them casual, but Dylan wouldn't hear of it.

Would he convince her that he was enough for her future? Or would he let her go?

I am not a fan of uber-hard headed characters. And Samantha? OMG, she needed some serious wake up call. This man more than likes you - and yet - she was still trying to push him away! Arrrghhh... I admire her passion for the sports, and her wanting to make something out of her future. But hey, this kind of love? The love that this guy was offering was a once in a lifetime, and everyone always has options!!! Good thing fate was on their side, and it intervened.

The steam of this novel was enough to melt the ice in the rink. I enjoyed reading this book - the witty banters, even the frustrating conversations, their passion for hockey and most especially, the romance.
