the founding members of Seconds to Juliet. All he wanted to do was to write his
own music and not something that has been shove into them for singing. But
first, he needed to play by the rules which includes being good to his new
tutor, Mia.
Our bad boy has some past that he
didn’t want out in the open. In a life that has been thrust in public, he
needed something to hold on to. Something that didn’t require public scrutiny. But
having someone too close for comfort had brought a sense of vulnerability he
didn’t expect. Mia is different, unlike any other girls he had ever been with.
He couldn’t help but open up to her. What happens when his secrets reaches the
press?
I like Mia, the honest, fan-girl
feeling she’s having just proved to be that this girl might be one of the
smartest in her class, but still is a girl who listens to popular music and
goes gaga over boys. She’s a breath of fresh air, and easily likable.
It’s a great romantic, light read
that is easy on the heart. I have enjoyed reading it from the moment they meet,
their talks, their banters and their sweet moments. With easily lovable
characters, throw in some amazing lyrics and music not to mention some scenes
to swoon-for, makes this book worth the read.

Lisa Burstein is a tea seller by day and a writer by
night. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the Inland Northwest
Center for Writers at Eastern Washington University and is glad to finally have
it be worth more than the paper it was printed on. She lives in Portland,
Oregon with her very patient husband, a neurotic dog and two cats.
She wrote her first story when she was in second grade. It was a Thanksgiving tale from the point of view of the turkey from freezer to oven to plate. It was scandalous.
