Jasmine Nichols is a control freak.

When she graduates from college as valedictorian with a degree in social services, her friend and mentor Jill Swanson offers her a job, but with one condition. She has to take two weeks off and just have fun. Taking the instructions to heart, Jasmine goes to a club called Debauchery and has a sizzling encounter with a sexy stranger.

Ex-pro football player Gabriel Johnson is done playing the field.

Gabe is tired of meaningless relationships, but when he meets a mysterious, beautiful, blue-eyed blonde at Debauchery and the chemistry is undeniable, he knows he’s finally found the one. What he didn’t expect was for her to freak out and run off.

Jasmine thought she made a clean getaway, so needless to say, she’s shocked when she finds herself face to face with the hot guy from the club once again.

He’s Jill’s. Half. Brother.

Gabe wants to pick up right where they left off and doesn’t waste any time convincing her. Jasmine’s blown away by the intensity of their relationship. How can she control something that makes her feel so wild and uninhibited?

But Jasmine can’t handle the pressure.

First, she’s confronted with old insecurities. Then suddenly, her brother has a secret he’ll only share with Gabe, the father who abandoned her shows up—at Gabe’s instigation—and a professional tragedy is the last straw.

What happens when it all falls apart?
Is being with Gabe more than she can handle?

What Others Are Saying....

I enjoyed this book very much. Jasmine was such a strong character and Gabe was the perfect freaking specimen ever. Hewas strong, smart, sexy and knew what he wanted. I loved the chemistry between all the characters and the story pulled me in right away.” ~ 2 Girls Who Love Books

“Hellooooo hotty!!! Gabe is totally LICKABLE!!!” ~ Author Groupies

“First I will say that this is my first book by Evan Grace and it will not be my last!!! Instantly I was pulled into this story... OH MY OH GABE how I loved thee let me count the ways!!!” ~ Book Happiness

Jasmine Nichols just graduated her master’s degree and was ready to work as a social worker, but her mentor wouldn’t let her. She was the person who takes care of everyone, and never really took care of herself. She was ordered to have two weeks of fun. It brought her to Debauchery, a club where everything just goes. Here she meets a sexy stranger, but before anything could happen, she runs away.

It didn’t surprise me to find out that the same brooding, sexy stranger was Jill’s brother who was an ex-pro football player. You will love this guy! Not just because he will rip your panties apart, because he was done with playing the field, and was ready to settle down and have a serious relationship. He was thoughtful, loving, generous and sweet. He knew what she wants, and isn’t afraid to give it to her. Problem is that, our girl seemed to have insecurities and has the hobby of running away. She was torn between staying and having wild monkey sex with him and run away as far as she can.

I guess I love Gabe more than Jasmine. Gabe was a more stable character. Although Jasmine is also likable most of the times. After all, she took care of everyone in her family and hers wasn’t the normal one. They have special needs, and to remain steadfast and work her way through school and making sure her family stays together, it was a feat. Maybe it is one of the reasons why she did not really know how to ask help or how to accept it. Because all her life, it was always her. Gabe just needed to prove that he will always have her back.

My first Evan Grace book and oh wow, caught me sooo off-guard of how much steamy scenes there is. After five, I just lost count. It was awesome at first, but it gets tiring after some time. Too much sex can be overwhelming. Although, I was glad Jasmine wasn’t portrayed as the usual slim-figured (not that I have anything against them), but she was a size 12, and somehow, it makes this novel a little more realistic.

The storyline is okay, characters were great and it was a sweet read, although I was hoping for more intensity. Nevertheless, I am looking forward in reading Nico’s book.
