They started as friends when they were young, and it developed into something more. But even the strongest, and sturdiest of love is tested, and sometimes it takes more than true love for it to survive.

Meara and Liam were friends way before they were lovers. They built their relationship on friendship, honesty and trust. High school graduation came, and both needed to fulfill their dreams, it was hard for the both of them, but it was needed to be done. Liam was going on tour with his band, and she’s going to stay.

How can you survive a long-distance relationship when temptation lurks around every corner?

The loyalty that they have for each other was admirable. Liam had given his whole heart to Meara, and he wasn’t going to let distance get in the way with them. Meara? She doesn’t pressure him at any way. She supports him 100%, and despite the fact that it was hard for her at times, and lonely, she was willing to wait for him for as long as it takes. They were meant to be together.

Until his secret went out in the open: promises and hearts were broken in the process. Will their love be able to surpass this test?  How much could their love endure?

They have a great love story, not perfect, but both of them have fought fiercely for it to survive. They had bumps in the road, some of them small, some of them were huge, some were big enough even I have some doubts they’d survive it. But they did. It wasn’t easy. It took a lot of tears, heartache and hard work before everything went back to the way it was.

This was a great love story. I have enjoyed reading it despite all the aches in between, but watching two amazing characters fought tooth and nails for their story to have its own happy ending makes this one seems real. Sometimes, happiness and happy ending is not handed out to us by fate, sometimes, it needs a little hard work.

Rating: 3.5 STARS

Anna began writing when she thought the world would want to hear her sick lyrics through song. Since then, she's realized her childhood dream wasn't so far-fetched, just misguided. Now she writes romance with real emotions and happy endings. If Anna isn't writing or reading, she can be found by a space heater painting her nails and drinking a ridiculous amount of Diet Dr Pepper. She also likes to hang out with her husband and two boys. If it wasn't for them, she wouldn't ever leave the house. Anna was born in Wisconsin but now lives in the Evergreen State.
