Tristan left home to find himself, his passion and not to be boxed with his father’s shadow or the family business. But what he will never forget is the relationship he has with Sydney Green, or break-up that they had when he went away. When he was forced to return home – he tried his best to ignore the woman that she finally became - a woman who no longer needs him.

Sydney Green loved Tristan Pierce forever, but the moment he left, he broke her and her life was never the same again. Years later, things may have changed, including her, but it doesn’t mean that her feelings for him did as well. But what happens when her secret is out in the open?

It was a question of trust, loyalty and decisions. I think Sydney decided what she thought was best for that time. It was wrong at some point, but she didn’t see any other choice. I laud her decision – it wasn’t easy, but she fought for it, and she succeeded. But when it was time – will she be able to face the consequences of her decision?

You will love the characters, including the secondary characters – I haven’t read their love story, but I’m dying to get my hands on the rest of the Pierce brothers.

Jennifer Probst can do no wrong with her work – she knows how to perfectly combine humor, drama and steam that can make her readers coming back for more. This one is no different, it is one of my favorite cliché plot, and yet, it never gets old. Jennifer Probst put new twists, surprises and family drama that can melt your hearts.
