The major basic rule of brocode states that never get touchy or fall in love with your best friend’s sister. But how can Barrett stop himself from doing so?
Ava is a total temptation. She’s intelligent, witty, beautiful and the younger sister of his best friend. Completely off limits. Falling for her was out of the question. Problem is that, he’s going to be staying with her in her parent’s house until her father’s party is over.
Everything was moving just as smoothly, and they were beginning to have the time of their lives until Ava’s company is threatened by a lawsuit and his future depends on his representation of the opposing client and winning the case. So what happens now? Will Barrett choose the future he had work for so long? Or will he choose Ava?
But it wasn’t only romance though, there several relationships involved. Families, co-workers and friendship. Ava was just amazing. She was strong. I love her family and their support in her (especially her dad!). I was just waiting for Barrett to finally man-up. I was glad he did, and it was sort-of a grand gesture he made there.
It was hot. The chemistry was there. Ava and Barrett did hit it off, and I love that feeling of anticipation of who’s going to finally make the first move. The cover is drool-worthy. It’s as sexy and steamy as what is inside the novel.
